An hourly fishing forecast platform that combines NOAA, HYCOM, EMODnet and Open-Meteo data with species-based biological models for Turkey's coasts. The right bay, the right hour, the right species — and all free.
Our forecasts aren't raw weather data — they're decisions: they combine hourly-updated global ocean and atmosphere models with Turkey-specific coastal topography and EMODnet bathymetry, and are designed to be validated against real catch reports.
Global Forecast System: wind, pressure trend, temperature and cloud cover forecast.
Wave height, period and direction — for a safe and productive fishing window.
Surface water temperature via Hybrid Coordinate Ocean Model — the key to species activity.
European Marine Observation Network: depth profile, seabed structure and fishing pressure.
High-resolution hourly wind field — animated particle flow on the map.
Moon phase, moon/sun transits and solunar windows — precise local calculation.
Coastal traffic awareness and safety context with live boat & vessel positions.
User catch results are designed to calibrate the model — as data accumulates, the system improves itself.
For every bay and every hour, a transparent calculation chain that translates raw physical data into the species' biology.
For your chosen bay, temperature, wind, swell, pressure, moon and depth data are pulled hourly.
Each data point is scored with Gaussian/Tanh/Parabolic curves according to the species' ideal range.
Weighted contributions combine; an hourly 0–100 catch-suitability score is produced for 72 hours.
Real catch reports validate the scoring and automatically fine-tune it over time.
Where, when, which species and which tackle — everything you need to make your decision, all in one place.
72-hour fishing suitability score. It evaluates wind, pressure, swell, temperature and moon phase together.
ScoreRingThousands of bays, marinas and fishing grounds along Turkey's coasts. Each equipped with depth, seabed and shelter information.
Leaflet mapSafe anchoring with EMODnet depth and seabed data: scope ratio, chain calculation and drag risk.
AnchorageDepth profile, seabed type (sand / mud / rock) and snag risk from bathymetry; tackle recommendation suited to the species.
BathymetrySee wind direction and strength at a glance with animated wind particles on the map; plan your safe departure.
Wind fieldThe most productive months and days by species and season; plan ahead which fish bites when.
SeasonSea bass, bluefish, gilt-head bream, bonito and more — each species has its own temperature, depth and behaviour model.

PWAInstead of a single “general” score, a separate temperature tolerance, depth preference and activity curve is modelled for each species.
No exaggerated promises. Behind every score there is a transparent calculation where you can see how much each factor contributes. The system is designed to calibrate itself against real catch results; its accuracy improves as more data accumulates.
You won't have to open weather apps one by one and interpret them in your head. BalıkTahmini combines scattered data for you and turns the “where should I go this weekend, at what time, and with what?” question into a clear score.
